SARAH BENNETT
Sarah Bennett PGA Specialist Professional has amassed 32 years of Ladies European Tour playing experience and 12 years as a full time PGA Fellow Coaching Professional accounting for just 3% of the total membership. A former England East Regional U18 boys and girls Coach and currently the Head Coach for the Essex Girls Sarah designs and delivers golf group coaching programmes for the new player to the more experienced. She coaches both Men, Ladies and juniors on a 1-2-1 basis with a proven track record.
She has recently been recognised as one of the Golf Monthly Top 50 UK Coaches which is a prestigious accolade to add to her PGA National Toby Sunderland award for charitable work within the community. One of the most memorable appointments is the upcoming role of PGA Captain which commences at the end of March a unique position as only the second Woman in the history of the PGA since 1901.
Sarah’s fun loving attitude and passion for the game is clear to see and recognised amongst her Golfing Girls which she set up nearly 12 years ago. A growing community especially for Women golfers of all abilities to interact and join in with the numerous activities, Golf Schools and group lessons she runs during the year.
Sarah can be seen at The Open where she has been selected for the past four years to coach within the designated SwingZone, this years Event promises to be extra special at St Andrews where she will be carrying her her PGA Captaincy duties and Coaching role.
